Beef Tallow — The Original Cooking Fat.
Before seed oils took over the kitchen, this is what people cooked with — and once you fry a batch of potatoes in real beef tallow, you understand why anyone ever bothered. Tallow is rendered beef fat, and ours comes from the same grain-finished Angus cattle behind our steaks and roasts. Rendered down slow and clean, it becomes a smooth, shelf-stable cooking fat with a high smoke point and a deep, savory flavor that vegetable oil simply doesn't have.
It's the whole-animal ethic in one jar: the fat that makes our beef taste the way it does, saved and put to work instead of wasted.
Use it anywhere you'd reach for oil — sear steaks and smash burgers, roast vegetables until the edges crisp, fry potatoes the old way, season your cast iron, or slip a spoonful into a pot of beans or a pie crust. It handles high heat without breaking down, and it makes everything it touches taste a little more like Sunday dinner.
